General Program Information
The School of Engineering offers twelve programs leading to a Bachelor of Science in the fields of:
Biomedical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil and Environmental Engineering
Computer Engineering
Computer Science
Computer Science & Engineering
Electrical & Computer Engineering
Management & Engineering for Manufacturing (MEM)
Materials Science & Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
This five day residential engineering program will provide an opportunity to learn what engineers do in each field. Equally important, we can provide you with an opportunity to focus on a particular major by participating in the Young Engineering Science Scholars Program (YESS) activities.
To assist us in planning for the YESS program, please assign a preference to the departments/programs (#1 being the highest priority) you are most interested in attending. We will do our best to grant one of your first choices but we can’t guarantee your selection. The YESS assignment you receive is not subject to change.
Please assign a priority (1 - 8) to ALL programs. 1 = your first choice, etc.
If you fail to do this, or if you indicate 1 for more than one program, we will select a program for you.
